I couldn't find a pattern I thought would be simple enough without being boring. By simple I mean not busy. It is for an almost two year old, after all! So, I went to my "design wall" and played around for a while, and this is what I came up with.
Here are the blocks I originally made, and will now get quilted individually and hung on the wall (once finished of course, the second still needs a white border.)
